چکیده
In this work, palladium nanoparticles were deposited on oxygen and phosphorous functionalised carbon nanofibers (CNFs) by sol immobilisation method in order to investigate the support-metal effect formic acid (FA) decomposition reaction. establish presence of functional groups support their Pd nanoparticles, obtained samples then, characterised Transmission Electron Microscopy (HR-TEM, STEM-HAADF STEM-EDS) X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). FA catalytic performance, stability selectivity catalysts evaluated liquid-phase at mild reaction conditions. The metal-support interaction reactivity was demonstrated leading superior properties both materials. Density theory (DFT) simulations provided further insights Pd15 cluster with different surfaces, i.e. pristine graphene (PG), carboxyl doped (G_COOH), hydroxyl (G_OH), carbonyl (G_CO) phosphate (G_PO3H). cluster-support strength follows trend Pd/G_CO > Pd/G_COOH Pd/G_OH Pd/G_PO3H Pd/PG, confirming increased 1 wt% [email protected] observed experimental results.

Palladium thorn clusters as catalysts for electrooxidation of formic acid
Pure palladium thorn clusters were synthesized using the electrodeposition method. The clusters were composed of several thorns growing on one basis. Each thorn was composed of hexahedral units with decreasing sizes. The whole thorn was a single crystal along the <220> direction. The cluster was synthesized by square wave electrodeposition. By changing the deposition factors, a mixture of thorn...

For the application of formic acid as a liquid organic hydrogen carrier, development of efficient catalysts for dehydrogenation of formic acid is a challenging topic, and most studies have so far focused on the composition of metals and supports, the size effect of metal nanoparticles, and surface chemistry of supports. Another influential factor is highly desired to overcome the current limita...

comparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.
heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
